Welcoming HKFYG Students to HKUST: A Green Technology Journey

We were excited to host HKFYG students for a day centered around green technology!

Morning Highlights: The session showcased various Living Lab projects, including Huaming's Food Waste Dashboard, the AI Ambassador, the Sustainable Smart Marine Grid, and the Vertical Garden. Additionally, student projects such as Anna's Receipt Fly and Annie's UST Corne were presented. The morning concluded with an enjoyable Kahoot competition.

Afternoon Highlights: University students presented innovative projects, including Frederick and Christiana's renewable water source, Dave’s Energy Kiosk, Alcarbo’s carbon capture solution, the Black Soldier Fly Team's food waste recycling, the Butterfly Garden initiative, and the Nano coating project.

This enriching experience aimed to inspire students and promote sustainable practices on campus! 🌱🍀💡
